About
Amber Lauder is a British-American artist based in Brooklyn, New York, who creates whimsical, vibrant visuals born from playful experimentation.
Born in Sheffield, England and raised in South Florida, Amber lived in Luxembourg, Central Florida and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania before relocating to Brooklyn. From an early age, she has been driven by an innate curiosity for new things and experiences, and a desire to challenge traditional ways of moving through the world.
By drawing from the varied roots and communities of her many hometowns and her belief that joy and meaning can be found in engaging with the unfamiliar, Amber crafts deeply expressive art that ultimately encourages everyone to reconnect with their inner child and embrace perpetual curiosity.
Amber's work spans across analog, digital and alternative photography techniques, with a practice that also extends into intuitive painting and mixed media.
When she's not making art, she can be found strolling in the park, reading romance novels or spending time with her two kitties.
